As of Monday morning, there are 294 active listings of homes for sale in Victoria. Last week, 15 new homes hit the market and a total of 20 homes went under contract. 22 homes closed last week for an average of 96.6% of list price and an average of just 77 days on the market.
This is the last report for August and there isn’t much change in the weekly numbers that we have been seeing throughout the summer. We are holding steady at nearly 300 active listings and homes have been selling for around 95-96% of the list price. We advise sellers to be competitive with their pricing and consider how quickly they would like to get their home sold. For buyers, we recommend looking at multiple homes and making sure that the homes are priced right.
