As of Monday morning, there are 276 active listings of homes for sale in Victoria. Last week, 18 new homes hit the market and a total of 33 homes went under contract. 14 homes closed last week for an average of 96.6% of list price and an average of 106 days on the market.
This week’s report sees an increase in average days on the market because 4 of the 14 closings included homes that had been on the market from 135 to 356 days which is a good sign for existing listings. We also saw an increase in FHA financing and seller concessions. We study the market because it is always changing and understanding the trends gives us (and our clients) an advantage.
