Let’s take a look at the home sales for Victoria for the third week of September 2023.
This week’s Monday Market Watch report shows 231 homes for sale in Victoria County. 15 new homes hit the market last week. 11 homes closed and a total of 15 homes went pending or under contract. The average days on the market is 110 days and homes sold for 98.9% of the list price. The average days on the market this past week is high, but this is because of new construction homes that sold which are on the market longer because they are listed before construction begins most of the time. Without the new construction closings, the average day on the market drops to just 23 days. We are definitely seeing the market changing to a buyer’s market with inventory growing and sales slowing down.
